- All of this was discussed before approving Geithner for Treasury Secretary.

- Everyone understood that the position is not short term contract work.

- For any president to dismiss his Treasury Secretary without cause in less than a year would be laughable.

With whom should Mr. Geithner be replaced? Whom do you think would be the right candidate for the job of Treasury Secretary?

I know they are all the same, but this case anybody is better than Geitner.

So many people said his experience proves his incompetency.

GUILT BY ASSOCIATION? PLEASE. Read more, and maybe you will learn.

When a congressman told GEITNER; "I AM A LAWYER, AND YOU ARE A BANKER", GEITNER Responded that he was never a BANKER but was in public service. Sounds like he was doing some charity work when he was paid severance of half million dollar for leaving the Fed?

NOW WE KNOW GEITNER WAS NOT IN PUBLIC SERVICE, BUT HAD LUNCHES AND PLAYED TENNIS WITH WALL STREET EXECUTIVES.

The Paulson plan was broken. Geithner has crafted some very simple and effective repairs to it. I don't see a problem with him being a participant in formulating a new regulatory scheme. This guilt-by-association kick is illogical. I don't care with whom he eats lunch.

According to Mr. Shinkle's article, he says Tim Geithner should be replaced. My question is: With whom, Mr. Shinkle, should Mr. Geithner be replaced? Whom do you think would be the right candidate for the job of Treasury Secretary.
