Hang on to your hats folks ! You "ain't seen nothin yet ! He has nothing to loose & the more backs he scratches the more money he gets in the end. Don't belive me ? Have you ever heard of a trust or an honorarium ? Every politician has one & the higher up the pole you are, the bigger it is.
If you have any means of escaping this country, do it now , before you are completely owned by it.

I grew up in Duluth and since my high school graduation I have worked and traveled throughout the United States. The sarcastic, sardonic and bitter comments of all instances cited show an overwhelming ignorance from the critic. Just so you know...the "snow making" facility in Duluth is huge employer both full time and seasonally along with the ski park being a huge tourist attraction that pumps quite a bit of money into the local economy. In Duluth, a 20,000 dollar a year job is above average and enough to secure a home and vehicles. The "infrastrucure,'' is what makes it an easy place to live. So listen up!.....Earmarks, pork barrell, and descretionary spending are what create jobs for anyone who is in a class beside the wealthy.......if you are not rich and you are a critic you are uneducated

Half the 90's and most of the bush presidency was Republican Congress - check the facts yourself. So if you do blame this mess on Congress, then you actually blame the Republicans - maybe you should start voting for a different candidate?

I HARDILY AGREE WITH YOUR THOUGHTS: THE ELECTED CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN, HOUSE REPS, STATE OFFICIALS DOWN TO COUNTIES ALL ELECTORATE, BE REQUIRED TO READ AND UNDERSTAND OUR CONSTITUTION THAT HAS BEEN FOUNDED BY HONEST-LOYAL MEN TO LEAD THIS GOVERNING BODY TO DO THE RIGHT THING. IF IN DOUBT, THEN READ THAT DOCUMENT AND DISCUSS IT FOR ITS UNDERSTANDING. IT SHOULD BE A DOCUMENT IN EVERY SCHOOL CHILDS HOME AND BE A DINNER DISCUSSION AND LET THE ARROWS FLY. WE NEED A SOLID GOVERNMENT BY THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE AND NOT FOR THOSE WHO ARE ABOVE THE LAW. ITS OUR BELOVED NATION AND ITS A GIFT FROM GOD AND HIS SPRIT SHOULD HEED US TO GET IT BACK ON TRACK. Well he cant do much when all the democrats are afraid to take force and the republicans are as stubborn as a mule. There's a lot of problems with America these days and a gigantic force is the only the thing that can change it for the better. The U.S. population could be that force and that's why I recommend a people-controlled government, instead of our fate being in the hands of an abundance of arguing old fools.

It's not "their" money they are blowing through, and "they" aren't going to be stuck paying the bill.
I'd suggest Congress pay back transportation costs to Copenhagen Global Warming summit.
"Redistribute" unused Congressional campaign "war chest" funds and all interest earned on these accounts to Social Security.
Take an immediate 20% cut in Congressional pay.
Not all animals are equal, take the donkey, please.
