First off I dont think the Wii itself was the mobile part I think its the fact that the new controllers allow for a more innovative, active gaming style. Also in combination with an eye-clops I can play my Wii or my Xbox anywhere I want.

i don't think it is about how famous the devices are, but hoe they broke some standards of use to go on a higher level. a ds is played in the same manner as a gameboy, so ds has nothing to do with this top. but, as "blackberry" stated, a strange selection is wii, because is not mobile at all.

Re:the GPS paragraph, a) military has a higher precision than what is available to consumers, and b) there are other technologies besides GPS that are being employed in smartphones and cell-phones.
