Did Daren Benzi really say, "It's a lot more convenient to have all that paper at their fingerPRINTS in one device"?

I am a proud owner of a nook. My brother has a kindle 2 and I can say hands down I love the warmer feel of the nook and have no buyers remorse when it comes to my choice of nook over kindle. For the last two months, I've devoted all the free time I used to spend playing video games to reading several books on my nook. It's really an amazing device and I think deserves more attention than it's getting. And it's a huge attention hog to boot.

I love my Kindle. I would add only two features. First is the ability to display color images from the book. For example if I want to carry a travel guide with me that has maps, museum guides, etc. in color, would want to be able to see them in color. The second feature is a back-lit option for the screen, so I could read in a darkened place. Would much prefer that to buying a separate book light. For a true reader, the basics of an e-reader are the essentials, and other devices can do the other things. Would also prefer that at some point they all sync, so I could buy from Barnes and Noble for my Kindle, and have everything available on this format.
as an older person too, really like being able to change the fonts?

The readers in this story aren't very handy for just reading. One, at 2 1/2 pounds, certainly is going to be heavy for hours of single-handed holding. The color and other LCD versions are going to be harder on the eyes, and a folded up 2 side version is going to be thick.
I own an ebook reader that's only 6 ounces, which makes it easy to hold for hours with one hand. It's an e-ink screen, so it's easy on the eyes, and it's thin, so it's easy to hold. In its' foldable cover, I can hold it exactly like a paperback book. A lot of these new gadgets may be fun, but none of them have the features that make ebook readers like the Kindle, Sony 300 and 700, the Astak EZ Reader and Pocket pro and the rest of the e-ink readers so truly easy to read in the same ways as a paper book.
