Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Offers 'Social' Advisers

MSSB is well ahead of the curve on this though I struggle with the twitter flow. You read an advisors tweet and click on a link. It takes you to a clunky page with the advisors photo, links back to Twitter, LinkedIn, Website etc. Also, the article or whatever is in an odd frame or something. Why not take the reader directly to the advisors website? I am not tech savvy but think this would provide much greater visibility and brand consistency for advisers and MSSB.

Either way, this is ultimately good for MSSB and their advisers.

I applaud Morgan Stanley for taking advantage of social media to stay relevant. Too many companies have eschewed social media and have paid the ultimate price.
