I am much like Rosemary. I started an Outsourcing Service: The Outsource Squad - which specializies in supporting Small Business Owners: Speakers, Coaches, Lifestyle Entrepreneurs, Direct Sales Leaders and Entrepreneurs with too many hats to wear. We assist our clients in Making a Name and a Profit Online. Internet Marketing, Branding, Color Printing, Wordpress Blog and Content Developmment. I do believe as more and more people start to leverage the Internet the need to outsource will increase at record number.

"The Black Book of Outsourcing" by Brown & Wilson, from Wiley Publishers has an entire section devoted to Outsourcing Careers.

www.TheBlackBookOfOutsourcing.com has links to Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Borders etc to buy directly

Its been truly indispensible to me. I was laid off with little hope of a new career until I read the "Black Book" (its more known pet name in the Outsourcing industry).

I updated my resume with a focus on the outsourcing experience I had and actually had two interviews in the same week from companies looking for managers with outsourcing expertise.

Check out the book - I owe my new job to those guys! Likely, so do hundreds of others.

I would like to connect to companies that need outsourcing talents. I have over 24 years of marketing exp. in the computer industry with an MBA. I took off a year and would like to do some contract work now. Not sure how to begin to get my name out. I get contacted by so many career management companies who want me to pay them to get me connected. I'm not interested in career management. I've enjoyed the career I have and still do. Just want to get connected to those sites where companies look for outsourcing.

I will not support any company that outsources. Have you checked the unemployment rate in the US? And Josh you think you helping your country? Shame on you. Us miltary people give are lives for you and you want to take your money and send it to India, well Josh don't look at me to protect you when some unemployee person robs you for your money. You are not a great american. You are foolish. Josh get a life, help your neighbor and wake up before YOUR country is in ruins.

I use a domestic outsourcing firm for scheduling & planning for my sales team, an outfit called Assistants4You (www.assistants4you.com). The schedulers are typically home-based in areas where the cost of living is low. Professional, courteous, and -- shocker -- they have good communication skills. As the commenter mentioned earlier, the quality of service from this type of firm blows away over-seas offerings.

As a Sr. tenured executive in the staffing and outsource world I know the worm has turned. Domestic outsourcing is the trend of the future. Overseas outsourcing has bred, Low-quality standards, (rewritten for simplicity of foreign workers), that are met overseas easily. These overseas companies in turn outsource their contracts to even worse outfits. The underlying current is that outsourcing is rife with payoffs at various levels, in the form of "business incentives". This has caused customers and clients to abandon companies that are more focused on saving pennies than producing world class customer service and better products. Most of these companies that are locked into using the 3rd world personnel are doing so primarily to enhance the sales of their so-so products in THOSE markets. It is a technical shell-game. Research is proving that outsourcing to a different state here in the U.S., is far better ROI. Our business model was redesigned in October to reflect this reality.
