My problem with Palin has nothing to do with her sex or her work-life balance (though her hours long delay of her son, Trig's birth seems suspicious and dangerous). Instead it comes down to the fact that McCain will in 2010 reach the average life-span for an American, white male and his age is something that deserves real consideration. At this point Palin represents the female choice, the supposed "only" way to somehow get a woman into the White House, this is wrong. I can wait, I can delay. I want a female candidate who knows her facts, the ways of the world and is open to learning new things. Palin is none of these things. She presents herself as an average woman representing average values, she is not. Her style of hunting is from helicopters, stalking animals. Fer gawds sake, get down from the damn copter and have some sportsmanship! Face the wolf , don't take an AK47 and mow it down from above, such is the way of the rich (cheney did much the same and oh yeah he was a hunter, yeahhhh right!)
This choice is an insult. I don't care about her success, I'm sure her kids are great. But her values and manner toward politics are startling. She scares me, and her supporters who seem so happy of her ignorance scare me more. BTW I could spill a whole bunch of facts but instead I'm just gonna give opinion and statements because that seems to be the way so many are presenting their views about this election.

Why did she think she had to lie about selling the govenor's plane on ebay and that she made a profit on the sale? I could never vote for a cheap liar.

Sucks to be you! But being military you are only looking at it from one side. How many more families are going to have to loose loved ones on the other side of the world in a war that isn't even ours!People are under the assumption like don't like your race ,religon, ethnic background, height,weight, and on and on so lets fight! What ever happened to talking!

Let's forget the 'female'issues here, the bottom line is that McCain is shamelessly pandering to the American women who stupidly followed Hillary! Now..McCain is a cancer survivor, great. But if he succumbs, do we REALLY want this inexperienced woman as President of the United States, do we? Come on now, think about it.

I am a retired USAF master sergeant. I served between January 1944 and August 1966. I would not hesitate to have Sarah Palin as my Commander in Chief. Her values and courage have won my vote for the Republican Ticket.
