I was so astonished that TEACHERS were not listed above..Well, it might be not interesting enough for generation today to choose that as their career but one thing to remember, to achieve all of the above, we need a TEACHER to assist us in first place..

There will be a boon of jobs in the next few years. But now, i agree with George that finding an educated and experience applicant is like finding a lottery, all this because of the recession many are working to clear this as soon as possible like the Obama policy for labour market, but it will obviously change in the next some years. but till than there will be a rush for finding jobs.

Please revise careers in your article and don't be a part of those who lure our next generation into jobless careers.

I get so angry at some schools who lure young people into careers that jobs are not longer there, only to leave them in debt, I saw an advertise on tv presenting this persons as happily working at this hospital that has been closed for years.

I agreed with George Rhompus "spin on the job market collapse? Hundreds of applicants for one opening. Finding work for people with education and experience is like hitting the lottery"

New grad professionals, can't find jobs lots of companies had closed their new hire program.Their excuse the present economy, people don't want to loose their job so they work harder and under staff without complaints and companies are getting richer using this economy excuse

I also agreed with lksadhgkl of CA "if your over 50 years old and let go today, you're screwed.

I live in California for the last 30+ years am an Rn 50 years old, I had applied to many hospitals and had not received a single call. Even with my extensive professional experience, companies are not calling me, they don't want to hire someone who is going to retired in 10 or so years, they don't want to paid higher wages for someone with my experience neither.

Am surviving by job agency work( I had 3 different agencies) I book myself 7 days a week to get only 2 or 3 days a week.
