CLERGY??????????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!

The worst article that I ever read. Please publish some useful articles.

THANK YOU, I was reading this thinking this exact same thing. Yeah, OK! I just lost my job as a financial adviser, but hey!, when one door closes another opens, how hard can it be to take my business degree and become a pharmacist, biomedical equipment technician, or an optometrist? This is the most pointless article I have ever read and was a complete waste of my time, now for that 3 minutes I'll never get back.

I am surprised that this list does not include Police Officers. With the recent economic troubles, this is one career path that remains in great demand, is highly rewarding, and has excellent job security!!!

Two years of checking this list, and two years of realizing it is a great time to be me. Good thing my parents encouraged me to get educated, and good thing the government supplies low income families with such great student loans.

According to the article, "US News has plowed through hundreds of careers..." It appears they simply changed their 2008 list to 2009. Wow, they removed four careers like investment banker. Duh! I appreciate this "creative" and "valuable" advice -- I think I'm going to go down to the local university and get me a career as a pharmacist. Get real US News...the economy is "the worst since the Great Depression" as "The One" has told us over and over ad nauseum. How about doing some real legwork and come up with something fitting for the average person who is trying to keep their head above the rising tides. Couldn't you have come up with a list more fitting of the economic environment our politicians have left us to wade in?
