To the Tuft above. Even Unions are corrupt. UPS has a union and they're about as usefull as a wet sponge. Unions are built by longevity and members are only as significant as they are in the time they put in. Seniority is the commodity of Unions and it's reserved. Last ones in first one's out........

Your article is written as if it were a surprise that we were are "skunked" by the outcome of bad loans, scoundrel lenders, weak morals, and underhanded, weak morals at the top.
Come on, as the book once said, these were the smartest guys in the room. We all knew going in that this was going to happen, everyone turned a blind eye to the inevitable. Everyone involved pocketed the money, and ran.

I digress. Point is, if a company, or college feels a need to have an Ethics Department, it doesn't have any to begin with, and - you know it.
