I've been watching the television show Mad Men lately. Characters on that show go on picnics and leave their litter in the park—they drink while they're driving.

I was saying that to my wife. We watched a few seasons of that recently and it seems like a time capsule to me. I told someone that show makes me a little more optimistic because you can see how much progress society can make in a short period of time.

Being unemployed stinks. My job was eliminated and I had to train office staff and people from Mumbai all my duties. My severance was ok but being laid off really hurt.

You really have to take care of your well-being in that since I didn't own the company, they could get rid of me at will. Doesn't matter if Corporate cares, they just see dollar signs.

Find a new path in the job search as I am now in the medical field. It's fantastic, the money is 4 times more than I made before with excellent benefits. People will always be sick and dying, so this industry is one to get into. Leave all the past behind and start anew. You will find your new life with a new career is the one you should have had in the first place:)

When I graduate I will be making more money than I ever had in my life. So go for it. And don't look back.

You all will have heart attacks if you don't share those jobs. It is just a matter of time. You will fall out from exhaustion eventually trying to do it all by yourself. The poor may be poor and unemployed, but we will be well-rested and in good health from all of the rest! I am going back to sleep. I bet I last longer.
