Sure, it's a monetary investment, but for me, training to become a yoga teacher allows me to continue with my full-time job and follow something that has become a true passion. After training, what happens, happens, but it's important to realize going into it that you may not get a job right away, and that shouldn't be your sole reason for getting certified. With anything, you got to love what you do to really be happy. www.aimeehoefler.com

Vastu School of Yoga has been training yoga teachers since 2005. The most wonderful thing about teaching yoga and training teachers is the amazing transforations that take place. We never cease to be surprised, humbled and filled with gratitude for these experiences. Vastu School of Yoga teaches Yoga in nursing homes, schools, hospice, private residences ... All the classes at our yoga center are by donation and all the teachers volunteer. The rewards are immeasurable.

I left my corporate job some time ago to start teaching yoga and it was the best move I made for my well sense of being. Yoga has the power to heal and change peoples lives. If you want to learn more about becoming a yoga teacher visit http://yogatrainingguide.com and http://yogaalliance.org

I am a Yoga Alliance RYT 200 yoga teacher. I am also located in a small town in VA. I teach at a local YMCA, a private class, and a free class for women at a local shelter. I am over 50 years old and worked towards my teahcer training over a period of 2 years. I can't say exactly what I spent on trainings, travel, hotels, time away from home, but I can say that it was not cheap! However, I can also now say it was all worth it. I have worked hard to build my reputation as a good yoga teacher. I try and attend as many trainings as possible to learn as much as I can. I agree it is an over saturated market, but not all teahcers have the same passion for yoga and teaching yoga to others. So if you are truely teaching for the love of yoga, and not the return on investment, you will find both monatary and personal rewards.

I was always turned off to Yoga until a friend made me do her Yoga workout on demand with Exercise TV. I became hooked! I have done Yoga in a log of places and nothing beats it! I still turn to Exercise TV when I don't have time but it completely relaxes me!
