Training and education is an issue with several of these professions. Nursing and medical assistant programs at community colleges and universites are being gutted. Those wanting to enroll can't into the programs or if they are in, can't get the classes they need. This is a serious problem and one that isn't addressed in this article.

Something is seriously wrong with the salary numbers. As well as the division between computer programmers, software developers, and web developers. There is no real difference between the first two categories and the third one is just a specialization of the first two.

Considering pharmacy oversaturation in urban markets, I can't see why you would recommend a job that has an increasing number of students slated to fill a decreasing number of relative vacancies. This list is nothing more than a list. Take it for what it is. Don't make career decisions based on it.

THE FUTURE OF IT JOBS IN THE WORLD
IT/Software jobs will be reduced tremendously in future. At a time when the IT sector was gaining great prominence in our life, there was a boom of IT related jobs. As a result several software courses have been started in private sector as well as in the university level. All these study courses promised excellent career prospects and good salary packages......details:- http://www.usajobsnew.com/

"Pill pusher"? Incensed that that term was used to describe professionals who go through rigorous training and residency programs to be pharmacists. Not only do they fill prescriptions, they ensure that patients aren't taking medications simultaneously that could cause harmful interactions, and many times they weigh in on treatment plans with doctors. "Pill pusher"? I think not.

I don't think that pharmacists are pill pushers. That is a terrible misconception. Pharmacists are very educated and trained in medication management therapy, drug drug interactions and patient counseling. They go through years and years of schooling (equal to medical school).

Medical Assistant and Nursing, careful.. new grads are having a very difficult time finding employment. The training schools/colleges are producing a glut of qualified applicants for the amount of jobs available. Healthcare does not always equal the "guaranteed" employment as advertised.

I was misquoted in this article regarding the medical assisting profession. My advice was to make sure you get a formal education at a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited medical assisting program (http://www.aama-ntl.org/medassisting/caahep_prgs.aspx) and to get CMA (AAMA) certified (http://www.aama-ntl.org/becomeCMA/how.aspx) because more employers are demanding certification.
I further recommended that whatever career you pursue, you should become a member of your professional organization. For medical assistants the best choice would be the American Association of Medical Assistants, since ours is the only organization devoted entirely to the profession. Professional memberships keep you informed in your field and show employers you are serious about your career path.

Yes, but to get any of these jobs you have to risk "indoctrination" according to Santorum. Would the Republicans go back out and look for a candidate that makes sense please? Our kids are going to need an education or a spatula. There's no third option anymore.
