Technical innovators have been burned out in America; there is no place for the techno- geek. Football heroes are worshipped and the pimple faced inventor is shunned by the ladies. In contrast the techno- geek is called a revolutionary hero in China and adorned with medals; they are also worshipped by the most beautiful women.

i think psychology degree is also a better option as a career. Today the number of psychologist in USA is not much more, and the number of patient is increasing. Anyone can join or get psychological degree from your home and pursue his and her career as psychologist.

To: BEN of CA, very true that suggestions should also be provided for high school grads, but the assumption is that after high school one should be focusing on higher education (a college degree) in order to prepare yourself for these better paying jobs. Yes, working upon graduating high school and during high school is good as long as this doesn't take away from pursuing higher education, any part time job that's not too demanding and would also allow you time for school is good.

you should make a list of jobs for people in their late years of high school or for those who just graduated high school. I have no job experience besides little every now and then things and I'd like to know how to make a resume with more than my name and info. And a good direction of where to look for jobs for people in my position. Thank you!
