The think tank Brookings Institution predicts that metro areas with strong job markets will continue to be strong in the coming years. Those areas include San Jose, Calif., San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Bridgeport, Conn., Seattle, Boston, Atlanta, New York, Chicago, and Hartford, Conn.
