Sometime ago as I chance to ask a lady boss in one of our monster Department Stores the following question standing next to an item with a ststed original price of $99.99 than immediately disconunted 50% plus another 25% as a special: Here is the question: My dear Lady please tell me how many of this item did you sell for the original price? Her eyes swirling oround from top to bottom said: Perhaps not very many, to which I responded, My dear Lady you did not sell a one of them and she disappeared from my presence like magic.
So, I personally considered this present discount thing one more how dishonest America has become in just about everything while most Americans have no problem with it and actually think that it is genuine. How so sad. My I further suggest that this dishonesty is very much part the reason that America is now in these shameful and despciable financial condition it finds itself in. Yes, what an example by the Nation that constantly claims to be the most moral nation in the world, while even its guns all over the world only add insult to injury.
If the Founding Fathers were to wake the would weep bitterly finding Amarica in such condition. They would want to go back to their graves immediatale, no question.
