What About BloomingDales??

Target opens Midnight! Soon every store will be opened on Thanksgiving. #Capitalism

I'm a Gap employee and wanted to point out these hours for Gap Inc stores are incorrect. I'm not positive about Old Navy, but for Gap and Banana, hours vary by location, and only select stores are open on Thanksgiving (in fact, I'm fairly certain NO Gap stores in my area are open today). You might want to give your store a call before heading out...

Home Depot is opening at 5am.

Sam Walton must be rolling over in his grave to see what his "family" business has turned into. So much for the "family" this holiday season, to have stores open on Thanksgiving day is a sad commentary for what his Wally's has turned into.

I have started a group to create awareness to this issue of corporate greed. If you agree, send the message by not giving them your money.

is that retail workers barely make above minimum wage if at all. Most of them will not get any "Holiday" pay either. Nurses do and they make at least twice what retail workers make. Seriously? People will shop when stores are open. I don't think being open one day earlier will gain those store more than if they opened at Noon on Black Friday. And people get SO hateful on those big sale days. You have to watch out for the angry customers that didn't get what they wanted. I think Black Friday and doorbusters just create a greed fest.

"working mom" go through your medicine cabinet and pop another pill. Preferably a downer. it is not the seriously. Everything is already done and put into motion you and i cant stop stores from opening and people from shopping at this point. For 2 years i've managed to skip thanksgiving and just not celebrate (personal choice) so darn if i knew early i would have gone shopping today instead. Happy Thursday to me
