Target opens Midnight! Soon every store will be opened on Thanksgiving. #Capitalism

I'm a Gap employee and wanted to point out these hours for Gap Inc stores are incorrect. I'm not positive about Old Navy, but for Gap and Banana, hours vary by location, and only select stores are open on Thanksgiving (in fact, I'm fairly certain NO Gap stores in my area are open today). You might want to give your store a call before heading out...

Home Depot is opening at 5am.

Sam Walton must be rolling over in his grave to see what his "family" business has turned into. So much for the "family" this holiday season, to have stores open on Thanksgiving day is a sad commentary for what his Wally's has turned into.

I have started a group to create awareness to this issue of corporate greed. If you agree, send the message by not giving them your money.

is that retail workers barely make above minimum wage if at all. Most of them will not get any "Holiday" pay either. Nurses do and they make at least twice what retail workers make. Seriously? People will shop when stores are open. I don't think being open one day earlier will gain those store more than if they opened at Noon on Black Friday. And people get SO hateful on those big sale days. You have to watch out for the angry customers that didn't get what they wanted. I think Black Friday and doorbusters just create a greed fest.

"working mom" go through your medicine cabinet and pop another pill. Preferably a downer. it is not the seriously. Everything is already done and put into motion you and i cant stop stores from opening and people from shopping at this point. For 2 years i've managed to skip thanksgiving and just not celebrate (personal choice) so darn if i knew early i would have gone shopping today instead. Happy Thursday to me

Robert of CA:

You are one angry dude. Who are you even replying to or do you just hate your patients? Scary.

Misha of RI 4:08PM November 26, 2009

Robert of CA, Im sure the store employees would like a day off but hear this... Like myself who is an ER nurse, many, mnay people have to work the Holidays saing other peoples asses like yours!!! Police, Doctors, Nurses, Firemen, Army, ect. Why does'nt everyone take the Holiday off and lets see how many lives are lost because nobody was working to save them. How ridicolous!!! Do you not think people like me would love to have the Holiday off? But no, instead I will be working taking care of some really sick people, and some really stupid people who think a fever is an Emergency, or the really dumb who know they have Gallbladder problems nad stuff their fat bellies with as much fatty food today as possible. Dont you think that in 9 years I have dreamed of having a full Holiday off to stay at hme with my children!! Must be nice to be like you, so carefree that you dont have to spend your Holiday at work, and instead you just spend it reading articles and commenting on stuff that is none of your business.
