Giving stocks to children is just plan silly .They want something they can hold in there hand . Give the stocks to the parents in the child's name and give that kid the toy he/she always wanted.

It's a pretty nice list of suggestions for holiday gifts. One thing I find convenient to give but inconvenient to receive (which means I shouldn't give it any more) is gift cards. I have so many gift cards around that I am pretty sure at least some of them went unused and missing... That is totally money wasted. LOL - partially my fault of course.
As consumers though, we still need to be better at in terms of how we spend our money and get more for each dollar we earn.
For this holiday season, one of the places I visit (actually have been using for a couple of years now) is at

They usually have some pretty cool bargains on a daily basis, including some pretty high end stuff, and most of them come from major retailers. It is also worth checking out their "super filler" finder for free shipping on Amazon.com too. It's pretty neat.
