Where is the Food Saver as a tool to save money. Almost everyone likely has all the 10 tools you are suggesting. They are nothing new. I have had a Food Saver for at least 25 years and I can't imagine not having one. You can literally keep meat in your freezer for up to five years without freezer burn. Cheese can be food saved, leftovers, etc. I also use it to seal chip bags, vegetable bags in the freezer when only a small amount is used. You can buy one for under $100. This item should be first in the list of kitchen tools to save you money.

I'm running a hundred a week for 3 people and one of them is a 17 year old 6'1" boy... Plus some sharing between our roommate. A hundred and fifty would be like a dream for 2 people. (And the hundred includes any eating out. Which is to say, not much of that.)

My fourteen year old son and I fast once a week as a way to save money. To my surprise it wasn't difficult at all. We drank lots of water and sometimes juice.

Everybody want's to save money these days, but why don't people barter? On www.BarterQuest.com you can trade goods services and even real estate. With the saved money you can buy quality food instead of looking for cheap food!

I set up 3 accounts,I started with one.My first account is for two weeks allowance to cover food and gas and extra.$500 for two weeks. Then I put the rest in an emergency fund.If I get close to spending the 500 then I have taught myself to slow down cause I don't want to touch the emergency savings. Also that's where I pay for my regular monthly bills. After a while the emergency account has added up to 1000 then I put that into a GIC or a bond. Now I don't see that money or cant use it.Then I start over in the emergency fund.If I don't budget this way I'm tempted to over spend. Now I have money for emergencies or travel money and dont have bills waiting for me when I return....

I love to save money and still enjoy life. At first I thought you have to spend a lot of money to live a certain lifestyle but then I found out about bartering. I barter on http://www.BarterQuest.com and it works perfectly for me. I already traded for a vacation and also for some nice clothes.
