Dear MS.,

Wow, in just a few short words you offered more to think about than the article did. Your post is truly motivating - cut and dry and REALISTIC. So many of these web-articles are plain ol' bogus. They offer nothing but a waste of one's time who is truly seeking help information or advise. Thanks again for sparking a few thoughts in my head. Now, onto making those thoughts action items!

With articles, as well as books, I believe that if I receive even one good idea that will improve my life, it's worth the time or money spent. Regarding this article, I found one thing I'd never heard of: making a YEARLY budget, not just a monthly one. What a great idea!

I was looking for solid financial help here. Everything here I have either done, know about and they don't work financially.

I see this as another way of referring you to websites to give more of your info.

The article mentioned about 50 ways to improve your financial situation in 2011. However, it's very weak in solid financial advises. Most of the "ways" can be thought by anyone else who does not work in any financial area. They are purely weak points.

If you really want to improve your financial situation then you have to work like hell for a few years not seeing the light and to have several back-up plans not 1 back-up plan as stipulated by the current article.

As for the lotions and the wash, it is just ridiculous, I would use wisdom when mentioning such things. It's about the education and culture to clean yourself daily, smell good, dress impressive and confront the world with a smile and in the most decent and pleasant way.

Ways to improve your financial situation:

1) open your own business - get educated and creative, look into yourself first and work for yourself 24/24 for a few years

2) have several back-up financial plans, when you start it by yourself

3) do not spend money like stupid on endless gadgets, eating out, driving expensive cars. Keep always in mind Earns > Spendings at ALL TIMES in life

In these cases, you will not care if the boss does not love you, because you will leave him when he needs you most :-) and open your own firm.

4) learn to speculate and get the most out of it

5) give and help a lot from all your heart, not from calculations, what you give in goodwill will have always good returns

I have read carefully the advice given in this article, and am convinced that you will loose everything if you follow the advice.

Sleep More----Spend Less. Take a nap instead of going out 'browsing' in

the stores with all the 'temptations' constantly beckoni

One can pick up great name-brand clothing items, [often never worn] at various thrift stores around town. These stores serve a great number of people who need low-cost items, but even well-to-do folks can save mega bucks at these stores. My wife lost weight and donated all her old clothes to various thrift organizations and then she purchased most of her updated wardrobe at these same stores. We estimated $2,000.00 worth of good quality clothes and shoes for under $500.00. A blouse for 99c? It can happen at a thrift store. She brought me two new [never worn] pair of slacks home for under $12.00 total. When we need to shop, we start there. More times than not, we don't need to go retail.

Just a note: DMAchoice does not require any payment or donation to set up an account and remove yourself from all mailing lists.
