I don' see why children or familys have to have there own place, there is nothing wrong with living this way. Everyone has to sit down and share the cost of the household and give each other the respect they deserve. It is called bonding, grandparents help with children and the young adults help with the older people. It is a win win situation if you ask me. Think about it, more holidays, more fun, less stress.

Wow, I'd sure love to date that 24 year old living with mommy. I mean c'mon, it's fine to live with parents, but do they really have to cook your meals? This is pathetic. I agree with living with parents after college only if you're doing all your own housework, shopping, chores AND chipping in atleast 50 bucks a week. You can earn that little bit at Walmart while looking for a better job.
I am 24 and I could not imagine living with mommy at my age. How does one even date and have privacy? Do you bring "Tina" home to your Superman sheets? LOL. I'd rather save a little less a month and buy a home at 29 rather than 24 if it means being on my own.

A 24 year old financial planner who's living with his parents rent free and letting them do his laundry, pay for his food and cook his meals? That sounds like pretty good financial planning to me.
