Our Social Security AND retirement fund came to 34,000. Soc. Sec. wasn't taxed so they only counted $16,000 as income. Is there any other breaks for us low-incomers? Head of household, food stamps, heat allowance, etc... We haven't much left after we pay our supplemental health insurance, prescriptions and co-pays to the doctor. We can use any help we can get. Thank you, SS
