Why Gen Y Is So Financially Frustrated

The problem with Gen Y is they are attempting to function in a society that accepts that companies should pay them low wages to protect the economy instead of paying their employees a good wage so that the spending habits of workers are the driving force behind the production and services produced in our country instead of meeting the needs of an uncaring aristocracy who has no qualms of supporting political candidates who will throw them government contracts and pass laws that allow them to more easily extract wealth from the nation. 1 in 2 Americans is now Poor or Low income.1 in 2 Americans is now receiving financial assistance. Our concept of what America is supposed to look like and be is still based on the massive economic gains created after WWII when the U.S.A. was the only industrialized country left to meet the demands of the Europe, which we labeled "ingenuity." In the 1980's, when America was told it is O.K. to turn your back on unions and Women entered the workplace, the glut of workers and the loss of an ability to negotiate for living wages, we sat at home in front of T.V.'s watching MTV and the A-team with our hands in our pants. The, after the fake economic renessaince called the internet bubble, we had a september 11th, and we all were so scared that the abuses of the 20th century and our brutal militaristic policies the governed our roles in the Middle East were coming to bite us in our backsides, we firmly then planted our heads posteriorly, while Bush sold America to corporations, who cashed their chips and wrecked the economy before out lazy liberal Obama came in and committed the great recessions sin of the past, not letting companies with bad business models fail. But no politician can let them fail, because out politicians are apart of an aloof and sociopathic plutocratic class that can empathize more with the destruction of a stock portfolio than the eviction of a single mother and her kids, smited by NINJA loans that should have never been legal to begin with (anything for economic growth, even if it is illusionary).

So now this class of kids, with America, dented like a kicked bucket, has to try and function in a world three generations let coast unto its own destruction. Gen Y thinks the American dream is a lie. They are open to a lot more ideas and non-binary thinking (not black and white thinking). They have more information at their finger tips than any psuedo-intellectual prat from any generation before and have to deal with the result of our complaceny and laziness. They are fed up with the plastic morality of this country whats only use is social control through despotic economic policy.

I hope Gen Y does what no other generation could accomplish. Screw America for what it is and create it in a new and healthy order, neither conservative nor liberal, but a healthy mix of both doctrines based on intellect, acceptance and selflessness and not the pathetic cognitions of us mostly drooling slobs.

Praise "Bob".

"half of young adults between ages 18 and 34 have taken jobs they don't want to pay bills"

The shock! The horror! It's called being a grown up and it really sucks. Fortunately there is a support group that meets at the corner bar every night.
