Unfortunately, this is a reality that none of us will outrun. Only those that have the ability to keep educating themselves will get something that resembles more than a cost of living increase. Is this fair? Heck no it's not fair, life is never fair. So as the article leads, keep ahead of the curve, you just may get that 10.1% increase instead of a 4.1% salary increase.
