Moved here from Colorado-- its a Great outdoor town that could and does rival Boulder or other outdoor locales. Very mild four seasons and dry dry climate with lots of sunshine. On the dry side of the Cascades, but you can drive over the hill to the wet but beautiful rain forest side.

Golf , golf and more golf-- over 20 courses. Many of them nationally ranked.

Rivers, lakes and National Forests border the town. A downhill ski area and several cross-country ski areas. nationally ranked for all types of bicycling. Nationally ranked climbing areas. There is a reason it in the top five for lowest Body mass index ratings. A very healthy lifestyle.

Microbrew pubs and great restaurants.
