There is a very nice community just northwest of the city of St. Petersburg by the name of Seminole. It has good schools, child friendly, it is an established community with great housing values with family homes on nice lots well under $200k.

Anyone who wants a high quality of life while paying minimally for it, check out the panhandle of north fl. I can't speak for the public education, but it's a beautiful area with a great climate and a slow pace of life

hello,
just discovered this site and since my husband retired last month from the Military with 47- and wants to take off for a few years we are looking for a place to retire.
Since we are late starters we are also bringing a 7 year old boy and a 3 year old daughter along. Good schools and child friendly areas are important, low taxes would be nice, too.
Any ideas? We are looking at FL Tampa area, Mobile AL, Pensicola FL, Charlotte NC or SC beach area.

I can't stomach the fact that we have hypocrites in the White house who talk like you do. You better pray that O' makes the right decisions while in office......... if he's not impeached in the meantime.

Tax the rich! Let's punish the successful people in society and redistribute the wealth to the poor uneducated blue collar high school flunkies. Power to the working class!
