No American demographic is more ill-equipped for retirement than Gen Xers (people born between 1966 and 1975). That’s according to a recent report from The Pew Charitable Trusts’ Economic Mobility Project. Researchers attribute this unpreparedness to a number of factors, but none more prevalent than the Great Recession. Here’s why Gen X is worse off than other generations.
