Mr Ben Baden conveniently fails to mention the word COMMISSION, and he avoids any discussion of the tradeoff between COMMISSIONS and FEES like the plague.
I also find his claim that many experts have cheered the growth of actively managed ETFs to be highly suspect.
And of course Mr Baden wouldn't be selling these ETFs on COMMISSION would he? I certainly hope not, that would be a serious conflict of interest.
One normally sees a few words about the author's credentials and background at the end of these little blurbs. When I fail to see this I immediately become suspicious.
