Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg chats with LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner.
Who even remembers when LinkedIn went public? Answer: May 2011. And who is its Mark Zuckerberg? The company’s chief executive Jeff Weiner might have the shortest Wikipedia bio of any billion-plus company in history. Founder Reid Hoffman is a cerebral “doer” with a long list of startup successes, but he won’t be played by Justin Timberlake in the unlikely event a movie is ever made about its founding (though Jonah Hill’s brainy Moneyball act might work fine). Meanwhile, unglam LinkedIn’s stock has tripled from its IPO price and delivered steady growth.
