Earnings on the rebound?

Plus, emerging-market corporate earnings have been worse-than-expected for the past few years. Morgan Harting, who runs AllianceBernstein’s Emerging Markets Multi-Asset portfolio team, says that “in 2013 we are likely to finally see a resurgence of emerging markets’ company earnings growth.” He sees a 16 percent gain this year for index investors, and even more for those willing to dig for discounted names.
