Excellent post! Many homeowners are afraid of foreclosures, and they want to save their homes although things are against them thanks to the worst form of recession prevailing in the global market.

Hello to Rick of OR and everyone else out there regarding IMC Financial Services. I am truly sorry to hear that this company has taken your monies and has done nothing but give you more stress on what you had prior to contacting them. I do however have to thank you as while i was on the phone with them, i had this feeling to search them on the web a little more and noticed some sad stories about them taking your monies and not being responsive.

Although i wish i was there to change your minds and save you , i thank you all for saving me. They were extremely nice and thoughtful but when i started to get a little taken back they became very persistent. At that time i said i will call back if i am ready. Yes we all want the help we need and the safety and trust in people who will help but it is very unfortunate that we don't see or have many out there. Again my heart felt apologies to all of you. But many thanks for helping me not go thru it.

I beg to differ IMC financial Services got $597.50 of my money then it was next to impossible to speak with anyone other than a receptionist. After so much frustration of only leaving messages on deaf ears I ended my need for their services and now getting my money back is nothing but a nightmare. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!

I like the FAQ format works well. I wrote a similar piece ( http://www.savingtoinvest.com/2008/09/foreclosure-rescue-scams-warning-signs.html ) and the more publicity these types of scams have the less they will be perpetuated.
