great job here! all the descriptions are related yet provide a new image for every city. I used this for a school project.

I've lived here in the area since 1997 and have found it to be the greatest place to live in the USA. I was born in NY, lived in Florida, So. CA, northern CA, Oregon, Arizona, Colorado, North Carolina, and Texas. Been coast to coast and border to border, missing only a few states. What we don't have is hurricanes, tornadoes, high humidity, overabundance of rain or snow (we do get some of both), but unfortunately, we don't have any beaches (I like those after living in both NC and the San Diego area). We do have excellent weather, nice roads (many of them including our freeways have been totally rebuilt), WIDE traffic lanes, lots of parking for stores, too many Walmarts (we have about 8 just in the Albuquerque city limits of just over 500,000 population). Nothing is too far to drive since Albuquerque itself is only about 17x21 miles, if I recall. Most of the important services are centrally located so things are just not that far away. It looks awesome at night up on the West Mesa at night...a true diamond in the desert. Less than 30 mile drive and you're sitting atop Sandia Crest looking down at the Rio Grande River and other sites from over 5,000 feet over the valley floor. Great for a hot summer day where the temps can be in the low 70s and watching the hummingbirds feed while Albuquerque is baking at 95 degrees (not 117 like Phoenix!).

Oh, and we're far enough south to escape the occasional harsh snowstorms in Denver, 460 miles north. We're 600 miles (an easy day's drive) from Las Vegas, Nevada (a little less from Laughlin), but we have many Indian casinos nearby, including a casino in the heart of Albuquerque, if that happens to be your thing. Oh, and there are very few mosquitoes since we have a lack of swamps (doesn't mean there's none in the entire city, but they're not all over).

There's more but I just wanted to give you the quick tour... :-)
