Stick with direct deposit. If you already have a bank account, you can avoid many of these fees by signing up for direct deposit and using your own debit card. With your own bank account, you can get unlimited and free in-network ATM withdrawals from a financial institution near your home and accrue interest on your Social Security dollars until you spend them. (Balances on a prepaid debit card garner no interest.) Says Tillman: "Direct deposit really is what we would suggest for anyone who already has a bank account."

I am in the processs of starting a documentary based on the so called direct express nightmare. I am a advocate for people who request help from me to help them fill out paperwork, to guide them through the system while these defenseless people attend chemotherapy. physical therapies because they have to learn how to walk and talk over again. parents of mentally disabled children (which I am also a father to 2 beautiful boys who are autistic) that basically cry out for help. but unfortunately these people are humiliated, talked down to, and have whatever hope they have left, torn to shreds by someone who doesnt realize that we the tax paying citizens pay their bills and put food on these bastard's tables. I created a group of like minded advocates who have joined me to continue to assist people as usual. The only difference will be is that we will be recording those calls over a period of six months. we will be asking to speak to managers ofcoarse. and stack up atual complaints about the employees they 9the managers) are suppose to manage. i also will be adding a face with a touch of detail of the worst employees and the stacks of complaints they have received also during those six months. I pledge to the humiliated to the hopeless and self sacrificing folks who only want help for themselves or their loved ones. I promiss you this, their foundations will turn to stand. God Bless
