"The government is talking about the economy. I am a widow I have just turned 60 I can draw on my husbands ss, but I am only allowed to make 1130 a month or they will take so much of the social security back. It really would help the economy by letting people work without penaly. I like many other's would be spending the extra money and contributing to our very poor economy. If I draw the ss now, I would be in poverty level, because I am only allowed to make so little from work. It really doesn't make sense to me. I have alway's worked 2 or 3 job's to make ends meet and I thought drawing ss at 60 would help me out, but the way things are set up. I will be going backwards. I would like to know the reasoning behind this.
