We currently have ML as our 401k and i am VERY DISSATIFIED with the investment mix choices that we seeing as only 4 out of the 18 funds had decent returns in the last 5 years. I would like to see many more options for funds which allow me to change investment stategies if i do not like what i am seeing. Also, with regard to the matching premise i think more companies should give FULL VESTING within 3-4 years instead of 5-6. Why? Well when our company laid off of our deparment many of the folks there just missed the cutoff of 5 years and only received 80% of the total match which i thought was VERY UNFAIR seeing as we did not leave on our own will.

JPMC doesn't manage the TIAA funds. TIAA does it by themselves. JPMC might be their 'bank' where cash goes but that's it.

We once had two choices, Fidelity and TIAA CREF for our 403 B. This past April our employer dropped Fidelity and MOVED all funds to TIAA CREF which is managed by JP Morgan Chase! I no longer contribute to 403 B put contribute to my ROTH IRA via Fidelity. I've been pleased with Fidelity and the choices I made.
