In this once great nation public policy is to protect the interests of the corporate and wealthy parasites rather than the people whose labor produces all wealth.

Sounds socialist? You bet your butt! Obviously capitalism has failed the 99% and benefits only the 1%. Not very democratic if you ask me.

I feel that when a spouse dies the living spouse should still be able to receive their retirement as well as their own. The spouse that has died already paid that money out. As long as the living spouse has been married to that person for at least a certain amount of years.

The elderly are depleting their savings at a faster rate due to the on-going zero interest rate policy (ZIRP) of Ben Bernanke's Federal Reserve. Another instance of everyone has to suffer for the Wall Street cabal. Thanks Ben Bernanke. History will treat you deservedly.
