Cultural Attractions

The Michigan State University Museum is the largest public natural and cultural history museum in the state, and the G. Robert Vincent Voice Library houses over 40,000 hours of spoken word recordings that date back to 1888.

Recreation

The Breslin Center is home to major events as well as the university's basketball teams, and the Abrams Planetarium has weekend public shows.

Historical

The city's first houses were known as Faculty Row and were built on the college campus in the 1850s.
