Buicks were far and away the most popular auto brand among older buyers. Buyers older than 65 were 4.3 times more likely to buy a Buick than were younger buyers. For the Lucerne, the older buyer index was 1063, meaning older buyers were 10.6 times as likely to buy this model as were buyers younger than 65.
